Victorian Trade Card - Warner Brothers Coraline Corsets - W.H. Bowen & Sons, Mantan Station, Ohio (Mantua Station)
This is an original Victorian trade card for Warner Brothers Coraline Corsets - "The Latest Aesthetic Craze" and shows a cupid figure holding a Coraline corset before a group of admiring women and a man wearing 17th century type clothing.
The back shows several varieties of Warner Brother's corsets: Coraline, Nursing, Health, Abdominal, and Flexible Hip. It also notes "$10.00 Reward will be paid for any corset in which the Coraline breaks with six months ordinary wear." At the lower edge it notes "For Sale by W. H. Bowen & Sons, Mantan Station, O." - this is a typo for Mantua Station, Ohio where W. H. Bowen had his shop.
It measures 4 3/4 x 2 3/4 inches and is in good condition. The front appears to be undamaged, the back has a little discoloration especially to the right edge, and a small ink type stain at the top edge, not visible on the front.
