This is an original Victorian trade card for Love Button Hole and Sewing Machine. It shows a dog chasing foxes over a wall and a hen and her chicks running away from them. It is captioned "Over the Garden Wall". The lower half reads "The Love Button Hole and Sewing Machine, M. E. Root, Gen'l Agt." with an office in Erie, Pa. It is copyright 1884 by M. C. Penniman.
The back describes the fine points of the Love Button Hole and Sewing Machine.
It measures 2 5/8 x 4 3/8 inches and is in good condition iwth a little bit of discoloration and wear.
