Victorian Trade Card - Die-Cut Bottle - Bassett's Hourehound Troches - Rochester, NY - Medicine
This is an original Victorian trade card for Bassett's Horehound Troches. It is a die-cut bottle shape and shows the troches (lozenges) in the bottle.
The back describes their uses for coughs, colds, and sore throats and indicates that you can buy a sample box for 5-cents or an "elegant glass bottle" for 25-cents "for sale on this Train".
It measures about 4 1/2 x 2 inches and is in decent condition. The colors are bright and crisp. Edges have a little wear and there's a small hole in the left side with a small crease for about a half inche to the right of the hole, as if it had been pinned to something.
Please note that the images include our watermark, you will receive the original trade card, which of course has no watermark. It will be shipped in a stiff mailer for protection.
