Victorian Trade Card - Die-Cut Artist's Palette - Lillie Langtry - David S. Brown Soap Makers & Perfumers

This is an original Victorian trade card for David S. Brown & Co. Soap Makers & Perfumers. It is a die-cut artist's palette shape and features a portrait of Lillie Langtr holding a flower. It is captioned "Mrs. Langtry, the Jersey Lily" - the nickname of the famous actress and mistress to royalty. 

The back notes D. S. Brown of New York produces a complete line of toilet soaps the largest and most complete in the country, also a "fine line of toilet extracts" and that "Lawn Lilac" is a specialty. 

It measures about 3 x 4 1/4 inches and is in good condition. The colors are a bit muted but the card appears to be clean, so likely as printed. The back has a little age discoloration, but overall it's in great shape.
