This is an original Victorian trade card for Diamond Dyes titled "Class in Economy", and showing a teacher demonstrating how to dye with Diamond Dyes to a group of women.
The back describes details about Diamond Dyes and their many uses. The list of colors includes: Yellow, Scarlet, Plum, Slate, Dark Green, Dark Wine, Drab, Blue for Cotton, Eosine (Pink), Violet, Magenta, Dark Blue, Seal Brown, Purple, Olive Green, Yellow for Cotton, Garnet, Bismarck, Navy Blue, Cardinal Red, Black, Light Blue, Cardinal for Cotton, Brown, Crimson, Old Gold, Orange, Green, Maroon, and Scarlet for Cotton. It also lists the dealer, O. F. Frazier of Chagrin Falls, Ohio.
It measures 3 3/8 x 4 3/4 inches and is in very nice condition, bright and colorful, with only very mild wear.
