This is an original Victorian trade card from "W. W. Carnahan, Dealers in Wall Paper, Curtains, Curtain Fixtures, Cornices, and All Kinds of Decorations", from Ravenna, Ohio. It was printed by the Courier Lithograph Co. of Buffalo, New York and shows a girl sitting on a box of R. W. Bell & Co. Soap, gesturing to three boys, a Native American and two dressed as frontiersmen.

The rhyme printed on it reads:
"2. Full well they knew its magic power
It's known by high and low
They said with Bells soap we can catch
The fiercest buffalo.
                                        Try it."

The back includes details for the wallpaper store.

It measures 5 x 3 inches and is in nice condition, mild wear and a couple of tiny spots on back.

Please note that the images include our watermark, you will receive the original trade card, which of course has no watermark. It will be shipped in a stiff mailer for protection.
