Victorian Trade Card - Milkmaid with a bucket - Mack Bros. Cleveland and Cincinnati

This is an original Victorian trade card copyright 1883 showing a milkmaid with an empty bucket on her shoulder. The verse in the corner reads:

A sweeter woman
Neer drew breath
Than my sonnes' wife
Elizabeth

The back advertises Mack Bros. of Cleveland and Cincinnati and their "Radical Departure" with a new and improved "domestic" sewing machine with greater practicability, new style wood work, and a new set of attachments.

It measures 2 7/8 x 4 3/4 inches and is in very good condition. The colors are vivid and crisp. There's a light crease in the lower left corner.

Please note that the images include our watermark, you will receive the original trade card, which of course has no watermark. It will be shipped in a stiff mailer for protection.
