Estate (goods and chattels)  Appraisal for estate of David White

Date: August 29, 1862

There is no real estate, but instead a list of goods and chattels which includes: stove pipe, beds and bedding, spining wheel and real [reel], 200 pounds pork, sheep, cupboard, bake oven, Bible, hay, wheat, bay mare, corn in the crib, hay in the mow, mettle [metal] plow, clock in case, old buggy, maple table, razors and strop, brindle cow, heifer, chairs, bread tray, looking glasses, rifle gun, shovel, tongs, brass kettl,e rent, notes due the deceased from various people

Four pages, each measuring about 7 x 12 inches, each sealed to the last in sequence to make one long sheet. Usual folds, paper is sturdy, about 2 inches of dampstain at one edge with a little fading there. No musty smell.
